Does the battery in the key fob charge when inserted,,,and if not, how often do you need to replace the batteries. This vehicle is just a year old and I think that the battery should not be discharging that fast,,,or maybe it does. If someone could chime in on this I would appreciate it..

It's recharged when inserted as per your manual. If you have comfort access, it is not rechargeable as it uses a regular CR2032 battery. Curious - how long has it not been inserted that it would say that?
