Lane Departure Warning vs. M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters
I’m looking for some feedback on the options mentioned. It appears that these two options (Lane Departure Warning and M Sports leather steering wheel with paddle shifters) can't coexist. I ordered my 2012 X5 xDrive 50i M package about a week ago with pretty much all the options available except Active Cruise Control and 3rd row seat. I contacted my dealer yesterday, and wanted to make sure that my vehicle will show up with the shifters on a steering wheel. I always wanted to get the shifters (miss them on my ’08 X5 4.8i Sports). Apparently, the vibration mechanism can't coexist with the paddles, so now I have to make a choice. I’m leaning towards the option with the shifters and without the Lane Departure Warning. Just wanted to hear what other X5 owners have to comment on this topic.
