Too bad? But at least they said its covered.
Make sure you get with the same service advisor when you show up for your appointment.

Work done under warranty does not extend the warranty.
All the warranty company thinks the waranty is there for is to make sure you don't have to pay for covered repairs until the after the end of your warranty period.

But that said, I agree its not logical. Just the way its been at the 3 different, non bwm dealers where I have worked.
