I just purchased my wife a year-end close out 2011 BMW 535i fully loaded with sport package. I am very impressed with the multimedia package capabiilities that I wish was available for my 2011 X5 50i, namely the bluetooth audio streaming and the album cover display when playing music.

I went to the BMW offcial site (BMW Bluetooth-Schnittstelle : Fahrzeugauswahl) and tried to see if an update was available for my X5 50i, but when I entered the last 7 of the VIN, it came back with a message that no update was available.

Does anyone know if the multimedia software can be updated to enable the bluetooth audio streaming and album cover display?
