This has been ongoing for a while, but is intermittent, probably only happens 1 in 20 times we open the rear hatch door. When we push the lock release switch, it makes a loud "clackety" noise for 5-10 seconds. Really irritating. The hatch is not yet open, so it seems to be associated with the lock release, as best I can tell.

Anyone solved this? Is it a DIY fix?

(I did try to search for this, but didn't find a thread. Sorry if already discussed and thanks in advance for pointing me to exiting thread)
