Well, I don't have the proper size torx here at home, so I was not able to get into the MID.
But I did pull apart and add the aux input like the link.

There are a few pieces of information missing.
The wiring connections:
E200 ground
E201 left
E202 right

I recommend thoroughly inspecting and routing your wiring, I routed mine like the write up.
The wiring interferes with sliding the cd player into place in the vehicle. It hit the surround/frame.
I would try running it inside the case, closely and securely tied to the side, and out the back.

He must have a pretty nice camera, because those shots are so zoomed in, and I didn't even realize.
Those solder points are small, like 2mm across small. You needs soldering skills and experience.

I have no idea how he removed the main board from the case, because it appears to have been soldered to a few other pieces in place in the case. I soldered it together with the main board still in place.

Operation, works fine. Just like he says.
AM/FM and CD player operate normally. To get the aux input to work, just have the source set to the CD player and plug something into the jack.

Just a note, I have to have my phone volume turned all the way up to match the volume of a playing CD.
