There is something good about a commissioned sales rep. I worked for Circuit City for a while back in 2000 after getting laid off from a software company in Dallas. We were paid commission, which people in the public frowned upon. The good thing about a commissioned sales rep is that, generally, they are well versed on the products they sell. Unfortunately for Circuit City, they changed their pay structure to hourly. The seasoned sales reps left (including myself), and high school kids took their place, and the rest is history.
