Intake manifold replacement

Hi all

Had a small oil leak on our E70 2007 3.0d X5 about 4 mths ago, took it to the dealer for diagnosis. SA advised that it was a faulty crankcase/oil separator (CCV) that caused the oil leak, total billed was $1000 for a replacement including labour.

Another oil leak again just before Christmas, bought it back again to the dealer. The SA advised the intake manifold now needs to be replaced. Is this a common problem for E70 X5?

Our X5 is just over four years and done 80,000km and has been serviced regularly, quite disappointed with this car!!
