No xpert, but I use the simple Stabil brand, found at any auto joint, Walmart, et al.
I've been using it for decades in my scoots, and in my car(s) for the past 7 winter seasons. Every spring, whichever car has been parked for 5 months, starts right up, idles fine, runs fine.
My method, which may or may not be 'the best', is to toddle down to the close gas station, for its last ride, pour/squeeze in enough to 'treat' the 22+ gallons, fill to the brim, drive home and squirt in a few more ounces. My method may be overkill...one may be able to just pour in enough to cover the tank volume, fill tank, drive home, park it. ;>)
Buy the bigger bottles that cover 20+ gallons, and be careful with the squeeze/pour as its an odd bottle shape and process. The X's filler opening is slightly problematic in allowing for a clean pour of Stabil.
No battery tender type charger, Naz?
