I have read numerous posts on here and have tried to make head and toe of this Making sense of INPA, EDIABAS but that site is like asking Stephen Hawking to explain how a toaster works.

I bought this cable of ebay USB OBD II and I am looking for a relatively simple tutorial on how to get it working using any diagnostic software available on an old Windows XP laptop. I really can't believe that it is as difficult as it seems to be.

Can anybody help?
