I have made the mistake of putting the car in manual mode when pushing the car, and then accidentally forgetting to switch causing me to bounce off the rev limiter for a couple of secs.

Is this crazy bad for the car? Any of you other guys done it?

I remember my 05 4.8is pretty sure even in manual mode it would still switch once you have it the rev limit.
