Just checked with my local Dinan shop, conveniently it is part of BMW Seattle. The SA told me that there is an additional charge of $250 to upgrade the BMW software in order for the Dinan software to work.
Do you folks know if the BMW software update is covered by warranty? Since it is the factory software that needs to be updated first before the Dinan one gets installed.
