If the battery is repeatedly drained in this way, it will prematurely wear out and won’t be able to hold a charge. If this happens, it will have to be replaced at your expense as the warranty will not cover it because we hide the warning in very vague terms deep in the owners manual and never tell you what we have already determined is 'too short' for driving distances
