Oil changes every 3-5k...that is terrible and wasteful advice. 1st off you should be running synthetic, which means 12-15k oil changes (follow the OBC message saying when oil changes are due based on engineered calculations, NOT 1980's oil advice) and if youre using a quality gas like Chevron/Texaco Premium (which premium is required anyways) youd already be running Techron through it on a daily bases...adding it after the fact is nothing more than a false sense of feeling like youre helping your car just because you're spending needless money.
