My poor N62 gets planted into the rev limiter on a regular basis, but a failure mode from this behavior is the least of my worries.

Right, I doubt anyone where is planning to keep this car until they would even start to see any problems as a result to redlining too much. I'll probably end up extending the warranty up to 7 years, but I'm not keeping the car a day over that.
