You have to be kidding, the only reason I can see for driving a diesel is the fuel consumption. Some say they are a nicer drive with low down torque, but cant say I miss that on my 4.6. They smell, the fuel stains your hands and they are noisy. Even in the UK the extra mileage isnt worth that to me. Mind you I am burning LPG, but with the cost of fuel in the US, why on earth would you want an oil burner
