Good to hear you're happy with the results. I used to own a tint shop, and something to keep in mind is the fact there aren't only different percentages of darkness, but there are numerous types of film. Some have more metal in them than others, resulting in a more "reflective" look from the outside. And, different brands have different standards of measurements of darkness.

Unfortunately, even the pros have a hard time knowing what is going to match 100%, so sometimes even if your math is right, they might not be perfect.


Also, I used to tint all of my windshields. I love how it looks, and how it keeps the u.v's off of the interior. But, if you don't have medical proof of an eye condition that requires it, you stand to be in deep (seriously deep) trouble if you cause an accident. Last I knew it was actually a federal offense. Laws might have changed, but I doubt it.
