has any one managed to convert their MASK module to a CIC one?

I have heard the PDC doesnt work properly and an extra box is needed. The programming is the easy bit for me.. just concerned I buy the CIC of ebay and then find I need a load more parts..

I'd love to hear from anyone who has done or tried to do this..
