just wanted to show this video in case I can get some feedback on this problem my car is having over the last 2-3 months; basically there's a hard vibration from under the left side of the engine bay (from looking under the hood) which is getting worse on cold-starting, particularly after 9 hours sitting outside my work. Some days it starts like a bag of spanners...

The vibration is strong at the same time as a pressure cycle - I'm not sure if it's the power steering pump or, the shop suggested, the intake manifold, but this was without getting it on the ramp yet. When the car is cold the vibrations cycle at 30 seconds 'on' and 7-8 seconds 'off', when warm it's more like 20s on, 15s off.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? At the same time there's been a very hard first shift from 1st to second, with late change and a jerk forward, then all the other gears are fine.
