I changed mine 2 weekends ago.
The filter case (black) is beneath the car. Note: everything else is uncolored steel or aluminum, so look for the black case.
Remove the plastic undertray.
Unscrew the black filter cap, let drain.
Pull off old filter, let drain.
Near the filter cap are 2 large screws which need a hex drive. One is much smaller of a drive than the other. The smaller one is the oil drain. I used a large, angled allen wrench with a short cheater pipe to break this loose. Let drain.
Within filter kit (from dealer or online) is a new copper crush ring. Replace existing ring on drain plug and tighten.
Place new filter in compartment.
Replace large O-ring on filter case cover with new O-ring in filter kit.
Small O-ring is for 3.0 only, discard.
Fill 8.5 to 9 quarts of oil into oil fill port to the left of the engine as viewed from the front.
