But if you copy and paste the email text, then when the application self-reboots and you lose all your data, you still have it on the clipboard for when you start over. That is mixing up the iPhone with the current iPad problems, but it was those problems that caused me to start copying text regularly, so I guess I carried that practice over to the iPhone.
