1) Any way to describe them by color code?

2) Are these wires the amplified signal that goes to the factory "subs" underneath the front seats?

3) How did you remove the factory tray, is it held in by screws and did you just take a good look around and remove all you could find and then start pulling on the tray until it popped out?

I'm sure I'll have other questions, but glad you jumped into this!
1) if you re-read the first bit and study the first 3 pictures more, you'll see the connector and the wires/wire colors needed to intercept and tap.

2) It honestly doesn't matter if they are Hi or Low signal since you have the JL amp (I'm mainly saying this because I can't remember if they're Hi or Low, LOL), but if you know anything about the amp, on LOW, it boosts the output. I have to set mine on HIGH or the bass just booms way too powerfully.

3) There are two trays, one directly over the battery, and one behind it, long enough to hold an umbrella, let's say. Both of these trays are held by visible screws only and lift directly up once all screws are removed. There are no clips or anything else that hold them down.
