how do i know you ask. ive done that and right after i did i immediately changed over to springs and the ride became awesome.
those stock airbags are designed to be driven at that height with those rear shocks
So what I'm finding online is either 2 spring & lowering link kits for the 4.4 w/ airbags, or 4 spring kits for the 3.0 w/o airbags. I'm only finding B&G kits on eBay (the guy is a dick, but the price is right) for around $200-$250...if I can avoid sub $400 range using H&R's, I'd prefer to do so.

Is removing the bags a simple hardware procedure...meaning the bags come out, then the springs just go in? Do I have to buy mounts to hold the springs, etc? I'm used to cars, so lowering the X is a whole new venture for me.
