Overwhelming liklihood, there IS nothing wrong with the intercooler- it is an erroneous sensor reading that leads to the 'plausibility' code. They saw the word "intercooler" and decided that needed replacing?

Good to hear they fixed it- I think you'll be fine, the sensor and the reprogramming usually does it. (Did they do any reprogramming? Could be your car had the newest and didnt need it.)

Oh, I refuse to sign off on repairs if they fail to write the codes down. Simple. The work order says 'provide codes', they provide codes. Just me...
