Like you, I'm guessing that it is wired and ready for the installation of the Bluetooth module. Kewl X5 had a similar experience with his M3 and was able to retrofit Bluetooth into his vehicle.

I suspect you can go one of two routes here.

option 1 - You can install the newer Motorola combo Assist/Bluetooth module to get the Bluetooth capability in the vehicle. The advantage of going this route is, if you plan to use the V710 from Motorola, it is compatible with that phone. The disadvantages of going this route is the module is more expensive then the Visteon module and you would have to add the stand-alone Voice Recognition module if you want that capability (adding additional cost to the installation)

Option 2 - You can install the Visteon Bluetooth module. The advantage of going this route is the ULF module is cheaper than the Motorola module and it has the built-in Voice Recogniton functionality. The disadvantages are that it has compatibility problems with the Motorola V710 phone (only an issue if you area Verizon subscriber) and it doesn't offer Assist capability (note: I'm not sure if you can get the Assist to work under option 1 either )

To see if you have the pre-wiring, look at IFlyX5's write-up and see if you can locate the cable shown in the 6th picture - http://www.xoutpost.com/articles.php?...icle&artid=190

Good luck, and I hope this helps.
