Ok, there should be 3 pieces: the bolt, plastic collar, and the nut(it fits into the plastic collar and presses it out to fill up the hole in the window.

I can see the bottom edge of the plastic collar piece sticking out from below the window as it should.
You should go on real oem and check it out.

But window regulator failures are super common and might be the problem. I just did one on my x last week.
