Tools needed: 8mm socket, 10mm socket, clip (51338254781)
Tools used (in addition): needle-nose pliers (fat fingers), and a "grabber" to clean out the bottom of the door, and I did replace the hex bolt (07147154229) and the bush (51338242760)
1)Remove Door Panel, Steps 1 and 2 from the link in the OP "Removing Door Lock Actuator"
2)Remove Airbag (3 - 10mm bolts) but do not disconnect. Instead hang from door lock knob with a bungee or cord.
3)Remove door "foam" from the door lock knob forward, down, and back to the jamb and let hang.
4)Reconnect window controls (this is needed for the drivers door and maybe for passenger doors because you will need to adjust the window height).
5)Adjust window so that the hex bolt holding the clip and bush are in the access opening
6)Remove hex bolt with 8mm socket
7)Remove window from clip and bush if still there, and slide broken clip towards the front of the door (there is a little retainer at the bottom of the clip that can be pushed in from the access opening)
8)a-fit new clip, b-mount glass on round portion of clip, c-push bush (ok it doesn't sound right) from exterior side of glass into the clip. Make sure the flange on the bush is towards the exterior. Moderate effort is needed to get the bush in far enough flair the clip edges, d-insert hex bolt and tighten, e-test results (note that the automatic up/down feature will not work until you start the car)
9)Close up
I hope this is of some value. It is an easy job with good access to the parts. No blood or scraped knuckles were had in this procedure.
I have attached a picture of the parts involved (note the clip is broken and seen from the side; SlickGT1 has a link of an entact clip) and another of the access hole.
