No dis to the OP, but reeling 'mpg' numbers from the OBC is like saying what the Dow is doing, at any minute, on a spikey trading day, imo.

I remember your thread about your SC to NJ trip, and your 'mpg' was also noted via the OBC, at different intervals...but, do a half dozen tanks full, do the arith, and report your real world mpg, if you wish to.

It will not be "29+ mpg" on any tank, unfortunately. No arm wrestle intended, but gas X5s don't average 29, on a tank...
