Was this quote from 3M or their certified installer? That quote is on high side. The
highest I have been quoted for X5 is $1500 by an installer. The material is between $250-$500 depending on car size. Its mostly labor intensive job.
Avery and Oracal are 3M competitors. You can get a quote from them too.
