Thanks for the information! After I installed "gtk2-runtime-2.14.7-2009-01-13-ash",
the Posion.exe finally ran.....However, this just lead to other questions that I would
appreciate any help on, before I ruin the process.

When I dragged my 2012 DVD's map DB and bibliogr folders into my new Directory:
C:/POIson, and opened the DB as instructed with Posion, it showed my POIs, of which
some I can't seem to access in my car? I'm looking to add "Red Light Cameras", etc..NY
Metropolitan area, and sure enough I found a "Police" POI in my current 2012 map DB,
which shows over 20,000 POIs for "Police".

How do I go about accessing the "Police" POI? Is it hidden under a sub-directory?
I was told to go to GPS Nav Menu, under CAR & TRAVEL, and would find these Police POIs? But to no avail....

Any help would be appreciated before I attempt to load my own Police POIs.
