Thanks Jeff for the info. Interesting reading.

I am curious if you have the manged to read any SMS Text messages with the new TCU and your SE 610. Perhaps you could do that before ... but I have one of the newer BT/Assist TCU with a SE 637 and cant get the SMS text messaging to show up at all. BMW NA say its not supported in North America, only a Euopean feature ??!!!
