It's all about availability of the delivery specialists and the number of people who want to attend on that day.

I tried for a few Fridays but was told that Fridays were all full through May. Fridays fill up the fastest for obvious reason of people driving the car home ver the weekend.

Ended up booking something for next Tuesday without actual delivery of the car. Program is called "The 101 Experience" and it entails everything that the normal PCD does without them walking you through your specific car. They can even give you a "mock delivery" on a similar car to yours if you want, but again, there are a limited number of delivery specialist personnel.

Bottom line is that I don't think your dealer can do a lot for you. The availability is set by the Performance Delivery Center.
