I think that your ABS has nothing to do with the slippage in a tranny. There should be a fault code.
Who knows to which point your VB and TC were rebuilt.
Once I received a letter from ZF representative saying that rebuilt doesn't necessary mean "fixed".
Slipping tranny is a slipping tranny, the worst thing is that they make you replace more unnecessary things instead of taking care of the main cause, which is BTW their obligation to do under the warranty. But nobody wants to remove the tranny endlessly?Especially if they don't get paid for it.

Car drives much better with the similar issue though. From high speed (40+ mph) I come to a stop and when I step on the gas the car does not move until I step on the gas and it eventually kicks in to TRANS FAIL SAFE. I can actually avoid that by stepping on the gas a little until it picks up again and gets going.

Transmission guy says the speed data disappears intermittently which may cause this issue and it may be because of the ABS module. I have sent the unit for repair to see what happens..

Cheers,

Ozzie..
