I have an extra short harness if you think you can use it. It's the harness with the round pin plugs instead of the flat pin plugs. If I understand your install correctly, you would just need to cut the big end off and then just connect all the wires up to your current power wires. That will give you the speaker output wires that you can then just setup the high/low converter. You can have it for free since I don't have a use for it; just pay for the flat rate USPS priority mail shipping. PM me if you want it.
I got the high/low converter from a local car stereo shop because I didn't want to wait another week for delivery to test the solution. So it's a generic no name brand high/low converter. Something like this:

But if I had to do it all over again, I would probably consider a full LOC like the AudioControl LC6i:
