The whiter LED light is definitely nicer looking. It's difficult to see how much brighter they are. These types of mods are all about personal satisfaction. Most people don't even notice them but we like it. The price is a bit steep for a pair of bulbs but many might consider it a cheap thrill.

I had an E90 with yellow halogen angel eyes that I hated. In the E90 (at least my '06), access to the rear of the headlights is through the inside of the wheel wells. From there, a small clear square of clear glass that acts as a filter for the angel eye bulbs can be removed and replaced with blue glass ones. That changed the color from yellow to white. Crazy but true and yes, I did it because I am one of those guys that does things like that.

I dug up an old photo. Passenger side is stock and driver's side is with the blue glass installed.
