Congrats on all counts, Bob! What a big year for you. Marriage, house (nice!), and BMWs. The 1M is awesome, the house looks great, you and your fiancee look great, and the X5 is a beauty. I do agree that something other than chrome would look better.

As others have stated, the warranty will pay for itself. It's strange to want things to break but that way they'll get fixed.

When it comes time to buy your trailer hitch, do some research here for the many lengthy threads on OEM BMW hitch versus others.

I just traded in my X5 so I have some goodies for sale. I haven't gone through all of them but the two items right off the bat that I think might interest you are (1) a BRAND NEW OEM BMW roof base carrier rack cross bars. They are new-in-box and have never even been mounted! (2) Used OEM BMW cargo/pet divider.
