I may have missed something critical in this thread, but I thought I read that this was supposedly rebuilt? Might want to consider that whatever was done did not rise to a "rebuild" in the sense most of us think of.

Well, the transmission is opened twice already and everything checked out (bearings, seals). It also passed a couple of pressure tests. So I am (almost) positive its nothing internal. Car also drives fine when I shift manually. I really dont know what else is left to repair / change.
Only clue I have right now is that the car loses speed data (after warm up) intermittently at 40+ mph speeds and may be getting confused about which gear to change. Could be a module issue but I replaced the module with another (used) one already..
