...What M said above, and that CPO 'Inspection' process is going to vary by dealer: some may actually check out a few/several items, and others will give it a 'detail' by their $8 an hour towel wiper, and park it on the lot with the CPO sticker. There are literally pages of threads on the "CPO Process", and its varied results, here on this Board.
Every car brand on the planet now has 'certified pre-owned' or some such, and any used car, regardless of 'inspection' is subject to the vagaries of previous ownership, and stuff wearing out/breaking...
