I loved doing CPO inspections. I dont do them anymore but I would always approach it as if it were my car. Oh, that trim piece is peeling? Replace. Little tire noise? Replace and align. With all the new cars (F01, F10, etc) being way more reliable than past models, Techs are looking extra hard for repairs during CPO inspections. But it all comes down to how much money does the used car manager want to put into each vehicle.
