This is what you need to do.

You can also use household window cleaner in a spray bottle. If you follow the above procedure you will most likely immediately see air bubbles and then you are sure of the leak.

From there go to Arnott Industries and buy a refurbished replacement unit. Search this board and you will find posts on Arnott. Air Suspension Kits, Air Shocks, Suspension Parts, Struts - Arnott Industries I was advised to replace both sides at the same time so the suspension would be even. IMO you will be super happy with Arnott and not have to worry any more about coming out in the morning to find a lopsided X5. Yes this will cost some $ but it is so worth it IMO. Good Luck.
