Update for me; I had the recall performed last Friday. Since then the X5 seems more snappy and willing to take off (of course not before the throttle lag kicks you in the pants from a dead stop) not sure if it's related to the fact it was all reset and new software and parts (shrug). Its' driving behavior hasn't changed since Friday and when I take off from lights I keep leaving others in the dust - it just pulls away much faster than I remember.

I'm watching my mileage again and for the last 5 days the OBC shows 21.5 (I know it's not most scientific but generally it matches what I get when I calculate it out).
