OK, now it's my turn. Thanks to everyone here I had the courage to rebuild my spare transmission that has 125k KM on it. I bought the overhaul kit including the friction plates and the VB kit.
This tranny had a delay engaging in D but other than that that it worked very well.
I thought of using this thread since it has a lot of good pictures and comments.


Here are my findings:

The bearing below that is missing a needle actually has all the needles but they fall off if the bearing is flipped over. The bearing race is fine but I am wondering if this is normal or I should replace it. I am not sure but I think civdiv had a similar issue.




An o-ring broken as RDM08


The pads from the B clutch hub seem worn comparing with the pics from Phil. Should I replace the hub?




Does this opening look alright?
