Mid-late 1950s, (back in the Age of Dinosaurs for most readers here), they were a fabulous sound to this kid's ears. When I read the news,
I ran downstairs to the basement to sort through my collection of old 45 RPM records; alas, no Platters, just empty slots in the ol' 45 record case.
Must have lost the records I had of theirs, along the way.
Great tunes great singing & harmony, a helluva run for that group.
