an old man's perspective..

We had some ginormous super-comfy, etc, child seat. that did recline and we put my daughter in the -front- seat when we would drive her to sleep on bad nights (obviously pre-passenger airbag, a honda). We would recline the front so we could recline the child seat. Aside from our discussion that if we were rear-ended she would eject through the top of the seat, guess what? Her head wound up on her chest unless she was Very flat. We added a 'banana' pillow under her chin, held in with the shoulder straps.
She'll grad college next year and seems to have a decent IQ..
