I recently did this fix. It is definitely an easy fix. The most difficult part is taking the mirror cover off. It has been around a month since I fixed the mirror and I am now noticing that sometimes when I close the door (not slamming it, just normal close) the mirror becomes loose. When I fold the mirrors in and then back out the mirror is locked in the out position and not loose. Sometimes when it goes back to the out position the motor clicks a few times before it stops. Has anyone else had this experience. As well, the little retaining clip that come loose inside the mirror that causes this problem. Has anyone used an adhesive to make sure it doesn't come off again?
