Cool! LOL! Yeah, side coaching is just part of the new rules in a league called PSP. Its the dominant league now - not NPPL. NPPL went bankrupt and maybe headed that way again if they can't work out a merger with PSP.
You're probably like me and won't like the ramping rules too. They can shoot ramping capped to 12.5 bps. So, basically if you have a good trigger finger you lost that skill advantage since everyone can ramp. Even though they allow ramping, I still only use semi (capped at 12.5 bps).
We recently got 4th place with a throw together team - never practiced together even. Local tournament but there were 12 teams total and all of the other teams were "real" teams in that they practice almost every weekend. We felt pretty good about our performance.
