I've tried this a couple of times before and my results completely and utterly sucked.

OP: can you be a bit more specific on the process you used? The instructions I followed did not work at all on my Imola red M3 or X5. Paint just came right off when I used the buffing fluid stuff. I'm not good at this detail type work, so I was super frustrated when it didn't work as advertised.
