Well, thanks for the replies. I was afraid this was the case. I bought my X5 CPO'd with all of the options I "needed" (Sport, Premium, Tech, Cold Weather, Rear Climate) and never paid attention to Premium Sound.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to live with the sound. This SAV seems much more advanced/complicated to upgrade sound compared to my E46 sedan.
