Its been awhile since I have been on here. I have been off the grid for quite some time. I apologize for not answering a few PM's then again the usual suspects are here all the time - you all know who you are. Also good to see the community is thriving with several new memebrs. Hello to all of you if I do not know you. Well - the ol' girl is going in for some work next week. All my work is done with Tim Rizza at Endless Details in Orange CT - Top Notch - here is the laundry list:
-oil change
-adressing oil leak - one of the gaskets
-new conti extreme rubber - I've had three sets of Vredesteins - My absolute favorite - rear negative camber chews through these bad boys.
-roof rail delete left holes - replugging - original delete done 3 summers ago
-repaint key lock cover mod - mod ships painted from bimmian - just paint is not so good - after 3 summers its toast and peeling
-complete detail - interior exterior
-possibly the sprint booster for some fun - i've heard good and nuetral on this mod - any input from someone that actually has one - please feel free to let me know what you think.
....the biggie - my sunroof seized up and snapped the tracking 3 months ago - to redo this at bmw - easily for grand parts and labor. I found a used sunroof assembly, casstte and all with a 6 month warranty - 350.00 shipped.
I'll get some new pics up once the ol' girl is polished.
