Not suggesting it can't/won't happen, but in all my years of reading here I don't recall a post of a 600+ mile one tank run, on a gas X5.
Possible, though I don't have the inclination or patience, or the flat topography around here to go do an all day run to see if I could dupe that feat.
Fwiw, our best ever tank on the X5; cool October run from NC to NJ, no A/C, speeds under 80, etc.

Your 568 pic is almost exactly what I have seen on a full tank.
The "you will see over 600 miles at the fill up" is referring to the OBC display of distance to empty after the fill. The farthest I have actually gone on a full tank is around 570 miles GPS verifed. I've done the TX to FL drive several times with only 1 stop for fuel, food, leg stretch and snake drain. Just over 1100 miles with 1 stop and 30 miles to E showing on the OBC at arrival. 255-55-18s at 37psi, 0-40 M1 oil, new Castrol Syn ATF in trans, new RedLine ATF in TC, new 75-90 M1 Syn in diffs.
